Why should I have a video of my wedding?
Photographs are a wonderful way to capture moments in time. Video captures time itself. At a recent wedding one of the bridesmaids (the brides sister) sang a song to the bride and groom at the ceremony and another at the reception. To see and hear those songs as they happened is a priceless memory. Video of toasts by parents and grandparents create lasting keepsakes for the entire family.

Why should I hire a professional videographer?
Since everyone has a video camera these days, why not just ask a friend to capture your wedding? For the same reason you don’t have your friends do the photography, you hire a professional photographer. Your wedding is the most special day of your life. With a professional videographer you can relax and enjoy your day knowing you've hired someone with the right experience, attitude and equipment, and you know that soon after, you'll be celebrating the premiere of your wedding movie.
Do you do anything else besides videoography?
No. Videography is all I do and has been my full time profession for many years.
If I book Don Bloom Video Services, who will be shooting & editing my wedding?
ME, Don Bloom. I’m not a big box studio so I don’t have 20 camera operators to pass the job out to. I do however have quality backup videographers just in case although I must say in all the time I’ve been doing weddings, I’ve never missed one.
Do you book more than 1 job per day?
Since I can’t be in 2 places at once I only book one wedding for a day.
Does your video gallery reflect your editing style?
When you view my gallery you will see different styles. These styles are all based on the personalities of the couples and the music they supplied me. Based on that, your wedding video may be edited in a more traditional, romantic or contemporary style
Do you work well with photographers?
We are both there for one reason, to produce the best job possible for the bride and groom. If we work together we all come out winners. After all, we’re both professionals.
What is your delivery time for the final product?
Approximately 10 to 12 weeks. Since I am not a big box studio I do all of the editing and I am very picky about the work I produce. Each wedding is unique and because I produce a fully customised product, it take a bit of time.
Make it a party
A well-crafted video of your wedding can be an event in itself. Have a premiere party with your friends and family. DVDs are so easy to mail, many couples send copies to relatives who couldn't attend the wedding.
